There’s no better person to dispel the myth that people who have lived for more than a few decades should stick only to hobbies like knitting, gardening and playing chess to keep active. Terry, the “UniGeezer” learnt to unicycle at 50 and is doing crazy stunts in this video here at age 54. What’s most inspiring though is that while people have his age (like me) struggle with pulling off the same tricks on a regular 20″ trials unicycle, he’s doing it on his MASSIVE 36″ muni.
Bit of trivia: We had someone in his 60s try to unicycle a couple of weeks back in my neighborhood. It’s not impossible!
Kris Holm Fusion Street Saddle – One Piece Only

We’ve brought in 3 pieces of the Kris Holm Fusion Saddle and we’re left with just one before we’ve the chance to get it up in the shop.
These saddles are really the most comfortable saddles you’ll ever rest your butt on. I’m using an older model and the softer foam and cover reduces abrasions from long rides significantly.
There have been improvements since the model I’m using and these include a groove down the middle to alleviate pressure, a stiffer base plate so your seat doesn’t fold as easily when you’re exerting Death Grip on the handle while descending mad slopes, and it also uses screw-in bolts instead of bolts and nuts to keep it on the seat post.

Unicycle Try-Outs at Amore Women’s Day Out

Team-Uni had a booth at the Amore Women’s Day Out event that happened outside Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza on the 6 March 2010. Thanks to everyone who’s dropped by. We had a full day of try-outs where anyone with some guts could drop by to try the sport out. There was also plenty of silliness happening with jousting and unicycle sumo happening sometime in the afternoon. Crazy!

Kids Unicycle Fun

There’s no such thing as being too young to unicycle. These under-12s are better than a lot of adult riders I know. It’s easier for kids to learn to unicycle too because they’re more agile.
