Tags: juggling workshop, June holiday workshops, kids circus
If you haven’t signed up for our June Holiday Workshop yet, we’re extending the deadline to 6 June. We’re probably going to stick with a single session workshop instead of having 2 sessions so here are the details
When? 12 JuneĀ 9am to 12 noon
Where? East Coast Park, from Carl’s Jr, facing the beach, walk to your right on the footpath for about 3 minutes. We’re on the grass patch somewhere there. The nearest carpark is Car Park B2 and there’s a map here
What Are We Doing? Juggling! Slacklining! Plate Spinning! Bring your unicycle and we’ll teach you new stuff!
What Do I Bring? Sunscreen! A hat if you want. Water. A change of clothes if you want to clean up after.
How Much Is This? $80 per participant and you’ll get your own set of balls!
Where Do I Sign Up? Drop us an email with your name and age. We’ll get back to you!
We headed down for a weekend of sun last week and had some curious passerbys try out our slackline rig.

And here’s what you *might* be doing on the 12 June.

June Holidays 2010 Kids’ Circus Workshops

The June School Holidays are coming up! We’ve got a few inquiries if we’d be doing a June holiday program for kids. Let’s try something a bit different and as exciting this time round.
We’re opening this to kids 7-12 and it’d be held at East Coast, on the beach (we’ll decide on where after we determine the turnout). It’s good to get some sun and the great outdoors.
What we’ll teach
- Juggling!
- Plate spinning!
- Tightrope walking (slacklining actually, but it’s similar!)
- Some unicycling
We’re looking at 2 slots on June 12.
- 9am to 12 noon
- 2pm – 5pm
All props will be provided (you can bring your own unicycles!) and each participant will bring home a set of 3 juggling balls too.
The workshop will cost $80 per participant and we’ll be limiting class size to 12 per session so it would be a small class.
Email us with the following details to register -
- Participant’s Name
- Age
- What Session You Want
Registration Closes 31 May 6 June!
*Early Bird Special!* Sign up with 3 other friends before 20 May and pay for only 3!
Unicycle Try-Outs at Amore Women’s Day Out
March 13th, 2010 • Events

Team-Uni had a booth at the Amore Women’s Day Out event that happened outside Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza on the 6 March 2010. Thanks to everyone who’s dropped by. We had a full day of try-outs where anyone with some guts could drop by to try the sport out. There was also plenty of silliness happening with jousting and unicycle sumo happening sometime in the afternoon. Crazy!

Team-Uni will have a booth at the Amore Women’s Day Out 2010 happening at the area outside Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza on 6 March from 9am – 8pm. We’ll have unicycles around for try-outs as well if you’re still on the fence about whether you want to buy a unicycle.
Other cool happenings include
- Remember those Unicycle Hockey classes? Sign up with a friend there and get $20 off each unicycle purchase.
- Can you already ride a unicycle? Join us for a round of unicycle jousting – happens at 12noon and again at 4pm. Prizes to be given out. If no one’s jousting when you drop by, badger us and we’ll be glad to poke you with a stick.
Hope to be seeing you around!

We didn’t manage to get any photos from the Bedok session but here’s some highlights from the Ngee Ann Poly sessions from last Sunday. We had lots of kids in the afternoon which was great fun and we caught up with some old friends who turned up.
Here’s a shoutout to everyone who attended the sessions and a big thanks to all who’ve helped! We do hope to do more of these public workshops from time to time so stay tuned.
