Jamie Cullum’s Wheels – Now With Actual Wheels

Three of my favorite unicyclists on the Jimmy Kimmel show performing during Jamie Cullum’s rendition of Wheels. Cool stuff.

Young People Stuff Done by a Not-So-Young Person

There’s no better person to dispel the myth that people who have lived for more than a few decades should stick only to hobbies like knitting, gardening and playing chess to keep active. Terry, the “UniGeezer” learnt to unicycle at 50 and is doing crazy stunts in this video here at age 54. What’s most inspiring though is that while people have his age (like me) struggle with pulling off the same tricks on a regular 20″ trials unicycle, he’s doing it on his MASSIVE 36″ muni.

Bit of trivia: We had someone in his 60s try to unicycle a couple of weeks back in my neighborhood. It’s not impossible!

New Tutorial Segment

Just to point you guys to a new tutorials segment to the site.

Unicycle tutorials are now online!

Kids Unicycle Fun

There’s no such thing as being too young to unicycle. These under-12s are better than a lot of adult riders I know. It’s easier for kids to learn to unicycle too because they’re more agile.

Looking for a new sport for your kid? How about unicycle hockey?

Audacious Flatlanding

If you ever need a reminder of what’s possible on a unicycle, check this out.

He’s riding a trials unicycle with either 125/127mm or 135mm cranks. For something similar from Qu-Ax, check out the 20″ Cross.

30 Kids, 1000km

Chanced upon this. This documentary talks about Taiwanese delinquents who’ve set their minds on accomplishing a seemingly impossible task – unicycling 1000km cross-country. Very inspirational. For everyone who’s told you that unicycling’s too hard for them, refer them to this.

And Now Back to the Program

Happy New Year!

We’re back from the Unicycle World Champs (UNICON) in Wellington, New Zealand and pictures WILL come shortly. Unfortunately, we left the video recorder back home but here’s a clip of the Flatland and Street competitions.

Street Unicycling in Armenia

Some fast-paced street riding from Armenia. That’s a Qu-Ax Cross you’re seeing.
