June Holidays 2010 Kids’ Circus Workshops

The June School Holidays are coming up! We’ve got a few inquiries if we’d be doing a June holiday program for kids. Let’s try something a bit different and as exciting this time round.

We’re opening this to kids 7-12 and it’d be held at East Coast, on the beach (we’ll decide on where after we determine the turnout). It’s good to get some sun and the great outdoors.

What we’ll teach

- Juggling!

- Plate spinning!

- Tightrope walking (slacklining actually, but it’s similar!)

- Some unicycling

We’re looking at 2 slots on June 12.

- 9am to 12 noon

- 2pm – 5pm

All props will be provided (you can bring your own unicycles!) and each participant will bring home a set of 3 juggling balls too.

The workshop will cost $80 per participant and we’ll be limiting class size to 12 per session so it would be a small class.

Email us with the following details to register -

- Participant’s Name

- Age

Registration Closes 31 May 6 June!

*Early Bird Special!* Sign up with 3 other friends before 20 May and pay for only 3!

Jamie Cullum’s Wheels – Now With Actual Wheels

Three of my favorite unicyclists on the Jimmy Kimmel show performing during Jamie Cullum’s rendition of Wheels. Cool stuff.

30 Kids, 1000km

Chanced upon this. This documentary talks about Taiwanese delinquents who’ve set their minds on accomplishing a seemingly impossible task – unicycling 1000km cross-country. Very inspirational. For everyone who’s told you that unicycling’s too hard for them, refer them to this.

UNICON XV Highlights

The 15th International Unicycling Convention took place over 28 Dec 2009 – 7 Jan 2010 in Wellington, New Zealand. More than 650 participants were in attendance and it was definitely inspiring to see what the rest of the world is up to.
